KCTD13 knockout mice exhibit reduced synaptic transmission in the CA1 hippocampus, increased RhoA expression, and no effect on brain size or neurogenesis. RhoA inhibition rescues synaptic transmission in KCTD13 mutant mice (Escamilla CO, et. al., Nature, 2017).
