Mutant mice where the knockout allele with a Neo-STOP-tetO cassette inserted after the transcriptional start site of Nlgn3 is selectively reexpressed in Purkinje cells (PCs) under the control of the tetracycline transactivator (Pcp2-tTA). Nlgn3-PC mice were raised in the presence of doxycycline [transactivator inactive, NL3 expression off]. Doxycycline (100microg/ml) was added to the drinking water during breeding and after weaning of pups. Subsequently, doxyclycine was removed at P30 to allow reexpression of Nlgn3. Mice were sacrificed at P60 for experimentation.

Mutant mice where the knockout allele with a Neo-STOP-tetO cassette inserted after the transcriptional start site of Nlgn3 is selectively reexpressed in Purkinje cells (PCs) under the control of the tetracycline transactivator (Pcp2-tTA). Nlgn3-PC mice were raised in the presence of doxycycline [transactivator inactive, NL3 expression off]. Doxycycline (100microg/ml) was added to the drinking water during breeding and after weaning of pups. Subsequently, doxyclycine was removed at P30 to allow reexpression of Nlgn3. Mice were sacrificed at P60 for experimentation.
